About Colon Hydrotherapy

the normal colon
your normal colon
The colon, as the large intestine is known, is the end portion of the human digestive tract. Approximately 5 to 5½ feet long and 2½ inches in diameter; its major function is to eliminate waste from the body. Beneficial bacteria living in the healthy colon synthesize valuable nutrients such as vitamins 'K' and portions of the 'B' complex.

However, the average person may have 10 to 25 pounds of dried fecal matter in their colon! The toxins generated from accumulating such quantities of waste matter are responsible for many body imbalances and, in the end, disease.

if you any of these problems; constipation, leaky bowel syndrome, digestive distress, gas & bloating, skin disorders, irritable bowel syndrome, eating disorders, candida (yeast infections), allergies, muscle/joint pain, arthritis, hypertension, fibromyalgia, spastic colon, chronic breath odor, chronic fatigue, chronic body odor, headaches, toxic chemical exposures, acne, chronic skin problems, abdominal gas and bloating, lower back pain, sciatic pain, low resistance to colds and infections, low energy and vitality ... then you may need to cleanse your body's elimination system.

Colon Hydrotherapy, also known as a colonic, may be the best way to do this. There is a gentle infusion of water into the colon via the rectum. No chemicals or drugs are involved and the entire therapy is relaxing and effective; the client lies, in comfort, on a custom table. The colon is cleansed and its efficiency in the removal of waste material is restored thus revitalizing one of your basic body functions.

For further information you may contact the International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT), our accrediting body. The Colon Health Network is a comprehensive resource on the subject.
